January 12, 2016Coming into Vibrational Alignment for the New Year .
As 2015 draws to an end, and we prepare to welcome in 2016, it is the time of the year when at least the thought
Below is a simple 3 step process, to prepare yourself for the new year and ensure it is better than the last, even if the last year for fantastic.
STEP 1 – Appreciate and Honour Your Accomplishments Go back through the year, and make a list of at least 5 10 things that you are proud of yourself for. They do not have to be large accomplishments. Anything that made you feel good. For example I am proud of myself for going to the gym as often as I did or I am proud of myself because I handled that situation at work so well or I am proud of myself because I made healthier food choices this year. Write down big and small things and let the lists be as long as can be. Dont worry about the number of things on this list as long as what ever you put down, brings a smile to your face.
STEP 2 – Be Grateful Gratitude is a very high vibration feeling so making a list of things that made you happy this year is a great way of aligning yourself. Again, this list does not need to be about large things such as a new house or a new car or that great big promotion. Simple little things will do. My list includes I am grateful for my health and I am grateful for all the love that I received from family and friends , I am grateful for my work , I am grateful for the travel etc.
STEP 3 – Set an Intention for the coming year More of – Here we list down, things that you would want more of in the coming year. These are obviously things or situations that made you feel good in the last year, or they could be completely new desires. This is the time we let our creative juices flow and imagine that we can have all we want. Simple intentions would sound like I would like more abundance or I would like to do more Yoga this year or I would like a new job whatever it is your heart desires. Or you could have a List that is very detailed and expansive. Personally, I prefer to go into the feeling of what I want rather than trying to ascertain the exact scenario. This allows for the Universe to fill in the gaps and we are not burdened by the expectation which goes with the exactness of our wanting.
This practice is based on the Law of Attraction Ask and it is given, all you need to do now is get out of the way and let the universe provide you with all your wishes.
It is important that you take some time alone to reflect upon and acknowledge the year gone by and welcome in the new year in the best possible way. I would highly recommend doing this practice in writing. Make a little occasion of it Buy a pretty journal, Start a diary on your computer, whatever works for you. Writing down things has much greater focus and intention, than just thinking about it. Lastly, make this list about you and you alone. Wishing or wanting others to change, or behave in a certain way is contradictory to vibrational alignment.
