Soft Power – Women for Women
March 8, 2022The Power of Community – A feminine value
June 22, 2022Genius Creativity – is creativity that is beyond the norm. It is the type of creativity that changes lives, shifts world views, and re structures normality. This highly sort after quality, we all so desperately want is rare to find, and hard to come by. This is because true creativity, the kind that changes world views and shifts paradigms, cannot be accessed by most of us mortals. We are unable to reach or access the domains from which this kind of creativity flows, and that is the domain of the divine.
First, I would like to propose that even the smallest kind of creativity is not something that originates in the mind of the human, but is in fact, received by “a human brain” because that human for some reason (more about this later) was a vibrational match to that idea. So instead of a bottom-up masculine, I did it – approach, I view it as a top-down approach. This means, the creator saw that the individual had the intelligence, the skills, the motivation, and the abilities to bring that idea to fruition and so one receives the idea. This is “feminine creativity”. Like the seed for genius creativity originates beyond the realms of the human brain and can be attributed to the download of something from the “Creator”.
There are 2 ways of creating in the world:
- From Memory – This is where most of us sit. When we are trying to be creative, we are thinking about all the things we know, have seen and learnt, and we are trying to create something new from it. This is not all together bad and is needed but it usually does not lead to the kind of creativity we call genius.
- From Inspiration – This is the domain of a very small percentage of us. (My intuitive sense is <1%) Inspiration is when an idea downloads into the mind of someone, and he/she is compelled to make it happen. The person is usually unable to really take full credit for the idea because it was a sudden launch into his/her consciousness and the individual can’t quite describe how it all came about. For an individual to receive inspiration directly from the divine, one must be fairly progressed in their spiritual and self-realization journeys. These self-realization journeys take place over lifetimes, that is why some of us have genius in us from very young, while some of us must work towards that kind of ability, but we all have the inherent potential within us.
All of us have the potential for creative genius, the trick is to know how to access it.
Without going into too many details, I want to present a simple model for Creativity that one can aspire to, even if one is not there, yet. Let’s call it the IGM model of creativity. This model came to me as inspiration, a small example of inspirations that come forth in my writing. This model presents an overview of the three most important attributes of true creativity, and what to aspire to in yourself, to have that kind of creativity flow forth from you.
- INSPIRATION – The first step to receiving inspiration is to seek to reach a point in your self-realization journey, that you feel and become worthy of receiving direct inspiration from the divine realms, to create something magical and beautiful. Getting there requires some work but starting with a simple intention to have that kind of creativity, and then a willingness to do the work to get there, will get you started. If we don’t have a direct connection with the divine realms yet, we can still use this model, and replace inspiration, with Knowledge/ Memory + unique identity that creates a new way of expressing an old idea or a set of ideas. Maybe one can connect a few different ideas and create a model that allows for greater efficiency. My first book – Blueprint of the Authentic you, is the result of one such inspired idea, and the motivation to write the book was part of the download. My soul knew it had to do it. On my own, I had thought of the idea of writing a book, but did not have the motivation, courage and commitment required until I received the divine idea – Idea being that each individual has a unique blueprint, and by following the structure laid out in the book, we could discover it.
- GUIDANCE – The second most important principle in the creative process is guidance or learning. To bring the idea to form, we are drawn to study and learn from masters and teachers that have already done some work on the subject or related subjects. You can formulate your own style, but you still need basic knowledge. I for instance had to study a few book writing courses, and figure how to structure a book correctly. A bigger world example is Steve Jobs. For Steve Jobs to bring the Apple computer and phone into the world of form, he had to know how to build a computer. There was absolutely no point of the idea of the apple computer downloaded into my brain, for I know very little about computers! The Apple computer and products are an easy example of paradigm shifting creativity, for which Steve Jobs was a match.
- MOTIVATION – The third and very vital part of genius creativity is the motivation, the commitment to do whatever it takes to bring the idea to life. This is what we call a vibrational match. Many people might have the intelligence, knowledge, and skills to bring forth an idea, but few, very few have the kind of grit and resilience, it takes to make a paradigm shifting idea into reality. This is again, where we can bring Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Martin Luther King and likes to our memory and see how much grit, resilience and never say die attitude they put forth in the causes they believed in. And each of them shaped the world with their commitment to what was important to them. To make an idea in their head a reality, they were willing to give it their all, and give up their all.
Here is my paradigm shifting idea – I want to see the stay-at-home partner in a family with children, receive a fair share of the salary of the earning partner. Not as an option from the earning party depending on generosity, but as a legal right of the stay-at-home partner, that is giving up so much to do a very important job of raising future generations and look after the health and wellbeing of the entire family
